We quote market rates over the phone, but a personal visit lets our team evaluate your actual needs and provide the best price available. We come to you.
Fast, Dependable Delivery
We work hard to get product to you as quickly as possible — often next day for in-stock items, with same-day service available for urgent situations. We'll always work with you to meet your timeline.

Fuel surcharge: $7.95 for most local deliveries, up to $12.95 for extended areas. No charge in select Blue Ash locations. We'll always confirm your rate before delivery.

Our Story

From Airport Road to Creek Road

How a $500 startup beside Lunken Field became Greater Cincinnati's full-line lubricant distributor — and stayed in the same family for nearly sixty years.

1963

It Started on Airport Road

Three partners — Ralph W. Silver, Harold Adams, and Albert Wettstein — open a wholesale motor oil and parts business at 4212 Airport Road, in the shadow of Lunken Field, as Cincinnati's original airport was known back then. Three partners, three stars: they call it Three Star Sales, Inc.

Starting capital: $500
1964

New Owners, and the Name That Stuck

Harold and Maxine Harness buy the business and rename it Aero Oil Company of Cincinnati, Inc. A company born beside an airfield, with a name to match — and six decades later, aviation oils are still on our trucks.

1967

The Wohleber Family Buys Aero Oil

William F. and Eleanor T. Wohleber buy the company — the beginning of the family ownership that continues to this day.

Family-owned ever since
1970

Home on Creek Road

Aero Oil moves to 4289 Creek Road. It has been our address ever since — more than half a century at the same door.

1998

The Second Generation

William F. Wohleber Jr. takes over from his father as President and General Manager, carrying the business into its next chapter.

Today

Still Family-Owned, Still on Creek Road

Six decades on, Aero Oil is still owned and run by the Wohleber family, out of the same building. Our people tend to stay a long time too — most of the crew measures their time here in decades, not years. Call us and odds are you'll get the same person you talked to last year, and the year before that.
